Dwayne Abt  - Principal

I am a native of Dorchester County and currently live in Rhodesdale, MD with my wife Kathy and our three children, Stephanie, Stephen, and Scott.  I graduated from Salisbury University with a BS in Elementary Education and a few years later received my Masters in Administration and Supervision from Salisbury as well.  I have taught in various schools including Choptank, Maple, and North Dorchester Middle.   I have been an administrator throughout Dorchester County serving at Maces Lane Middle, North Dorchester High, and Sandy Hill Elementary.  As principal here at South Dorchester School, I have found the staff, students, and parents, very involved and interested in education.   Whenever I can, I usually attend Friday night CSD football games and always go to see my favorite team, the Baltimore Ravens.
