 Doris Meekins – Kindergarten assistant
I grew up in this area, graduating from South Dorchester when it was a high school. My husband’s name is Bruce. I have one daughter, Sarah. I started substitute teaching when my daughter attended kindergarten. When the pre-kindergarten program started, I signed on as an assistant. Throughout the years I have helped with after-school, math, reading, and other assorted programs in various grades. This year I am teaming up with Stacy Brooks to assist Mrs. Rue in kindergarten.
