 Laura Walters – Middle School Language Arts
I was born and raised in Dorchester county so teaching here was the natural thing to do. I have taught in our county schools for the past 23 years. My experiences range from pre-kindergarten to middle school language arts and math. I began my career at Warwick Elementary and have taught at Hurlock Elem., Maple Elem., and Choptank Elem. For the past four years I have taken on the task of middle school language arts at South Dorchester K-8. I feel I have found a little piece of heaven here on earth! I have been married for the past twenty-one years to my husband, Doug, and we have two teenagers, Brad and Brie. Some of my interest are reading, cross-stitching and watching my children take part in their many sports activities such as swimming, cheerleading, and lacrosse.
